Already successfully tested at recent UK trials, STRAND software now interfaces to Touch Screen Voting machines, and the future promises further innovation as on-line polling station registers are employed to enable 'vote anywhere' elections!
Also under development is the electronic transportation of results to count centres - further reducing the 'time to result' factor.
The acclaimed STRAND 'scrolling screens' offer a continuous view of the registers, both draft and current. Powerful search features quickly locate individual electors by name, and properties by house name, street name and number, or post code.
Re-organisations become a breeze with the Boundary Maintenance feature, which will move blocks of properties (including post code groups) to another location. The included Aform scanning module automates the canvass process and adds a facsimile of the aform to the property record for easy viewing from the register.
